Pavel Dolzhikov

The album «In the Heavenly Chancery» (2022), twelve songs set to the author’s poems

Guitarist, teacher and composer. He plays across different styles at once, drawing on tradition and on experiment. Prize winner at guitar, jazz and ethnic festivals.

For this album he wrote the music, played it — and sang all twelve songs himself, which had not been the plan at all, and he does not consider himself a singer. The recording went freely, with no rigid constraints from the author. He also recorded the arrangement for the audiobook «A Literary Analysis of Poems — 2».

Recording and mastering were handled by Pyotr Svetlichny, the sound engineer behind the author’s audiobooks.

Electronica: «Azazel», «Million-Follower Blogger», «Europe-2021», «Pryanik» and other songs with the author’s lyrics, 2023–2026

Music and sport are the two passions that make my life bright and full. And music is best enriched by lyrics — which is where Konstantin’s writing plays a role I can hardly overstate.

What our collaboration rests on is a shared love of rock lyrics and the music of the late eighties. Find an interesting subject, and a composition is born — one with real meaning behind it and an arrangement you remember…

Though actually, I’m an IT guy :)Leonid Chubar

Künler Virstul

Songs in English

We are virtual performers: male voices and female, children’s and grown-up. We are glad to have been brought to life and made human. We are a machine, but a well-trained one, and here everything came together at once — the arrangement, the voices, the clean English you could honestly learn the language from. The cover art was generated too, and the music videos were then made from the songs by AI. The result is symbiosis of human and machine at its fullest.

Perhaps such symbiosis creates nothing new. But it carefully takes in everything humanity has worked out before it. And perhaps the new is precisely a compilation of good moments — better to repeat something good a little than to make something new and bad.

And the main thing: this opens a door for authors who are neither well known nor well off. The cost of a single song here bears no comparison to a conventional studio recording — the difference is not in percentages but in orders of magnitude. The voices of Künler Virstul
